Your role in the project
As a project manager, you bring together all the people and teams involved in the project under one roof and ensure that our services are delivered on time, cost-effectively, and to the expected quality standards. As the point of contact for clients, partners, and employees both in the office and on-site, the project manager also serves as a buyer, sales representative, and problem-solver. You’ll typically handle these diverse tasks while on the go.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, you’ll always have at least one project coordinator by your side who oversees project management from the office. Additionally, the project manager has access to PL-Assistance.
Here's what you'll be doing with us
- Commercial, legal, and technical review of construction contracts and requests for proposals
- drafting of requests for proposals, including project costing, scope of work, and technical and organizational specifications
- Evaluation of in-house work and outsourced services, risk assessment
- Active participation in contract negotiations
- Value engineering and claim management, as well as claim defense
- Preparation and monitoring of project schedulesCommercial project management
- Project execution in direct contact with clientsReporting to management and project management
- Direct personnel responsibility for your own project coordinators and site managers
What you bring to the table
- Electrical engineering education
- apprenticeship/HTL/university of applied sciences/university
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
- leadership experience; German and English required
- willingness to travel within the DACH region (60%)
